Checkers CHECKERS

Checkers (also called Draughts) is a board game for two players.
The object of the game is to capture your opponents pieces by jumping over them.

HOW TO PLAY CHECKERS

  • You can only move diagonally (white squares only)
  • You can only move a piece forward
  • You can only move a piece one square at a time
  • You can jump over an opponents piece if the square behind it is not blocked.
  • When you jump your opponents piece, their piece is removed from the board.
  • You can double jump as many times as you like

When you get your piece to the opposite side of the board, it becomes a KING.

  • King can only move diagonally (white squares only).
  • King can only move one square at a time.
  • King can move forward or backwards.
  • King can jump as many times that is available.
